It’s the 10th day of January 2022, have you set your goals? Setting goals are great, creating a vision board is even greater. A picture is worth a thousand words. This has become a tradition in my home. This year, my elder daughter challenged me to be the first to create her vision board. She used it as a screen saver on her laptop. Interesting how one gets motivated when convinced about something!
Friends, vision boards are practical ways of visualizing your goals. The biblical reference quotes and validates the essence of writing a vision. It states, “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:2-3 ESV.
A vision board compels you and others to remind you of goals achieved and the ones pending during the year. You celebrate achievements and work even harder for goals yet to be met.
What you see everyday is powerful in motivating you in achieving them. Some of us write and put the book away, but with a vision board that you see all the time will serve as a reminder. You can add quotes too that spur you to action! Be creative in visualizing your vision board for 2022.
Here are 3 steps on how l created my 2022 vision board:
Step 1: Set and write down your goals
Step 2: Get images that visualize your goals. Use Canva or Pinterest or google search for images.
Step 3: Print and cut out these images that represents your 2022 goals. Or Use Canva to create them so you have them on your electronic devices like the Mobile, Laptop etc.
Do whatever your prefer. I am doing both, printing and having it on my mobile for a quick regular glance. Make sure the printed Vision Board created is pasted in a visible place in your home or office. I have mine on my Wardrobe to remind me whenever l am in my room.
Set goals this year, a new skill to learn, a new book to read, volunteer, or lead. Vision boards inspire, excite, remind and compel action. Go ahead and create a vision board for 2022 and thank me later!

Have you created your vision board for 2023? Or have you scribbled down your goals for 2023? This article is still relevant. Now, get to it😉😉
Thank you for the pointers and sharing! Excellent reminders
All great starts begin with the right mindset. Actually began visualising how 2022 should be from the tail-end of 2021. Never too early to do things a tad differently, right? 😁
What a great concept to keep a visual board. I like that it is something you can always refer to, in your face in some form and not hidden away in last year's journal.
Thanks for your wonderful post.
Here's to a 'visually' enhanced year ahead. 👏
