Keep
Regularly, frequently, always find time to exercise. Do what you love and that works for you. A 1 mile a day, 3k steps, climbing 3 stairs, start but keep moving. One day at a time. Innovate Nothing big or expensive. Start with using what you have at home. You can use substitutes or alternates. Do not be too hard on yourself. Be creative with your exercise and meals.
Short
Start from 5 mins a day and build up. A good and regular 10 minutes to an hour a week or intermittently will do you good. Do not compare yourself. Is not a race nor a competition but a lifestyle change. Remember walk your lane. This way you are not easily burnout and risk giving up. Intensity is good but slowly and surely you will build up the momentum. Learn to diversify and mix up your routines to avoid being bored. Simple:
Start with simple exercises and routines. Like rocking your toes for 2 mins; Bending and touching your toes; Running on the spot for 10 minutes or raising your legs sideways. These exercises sound small and negligible, but they will help strengthen your muscles and lessen any stiffness around your body.
The bottom line starts today, Keep It Short and Simple. Keep it simple and realistic. This will help you to be consistent and ensure you have some workouts done. Remember…’ the only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen.’
