Happy Thanksgiving - BSS 101

Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated in the United States, Canada, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Liberia. It is marked on the fourth last Thursday of November. This year's Thanksgiving holiday celebration is, Today! How do you plan to celebrate this year's Thanksgiving? So whether it is Turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, or Thanksgiving apple pie, you will never go wrong! As l join my fellow Sisters and brothers to celebrate this year’s Thanksgiving, my heart is full of gratitude for so many reasons too numerous to count. I was asked recently by a Sister, “She said how do you mark Thanksgiving?” My answer was, for me, “Every day is thanksgiving“! The month of November is closest to my heart for many reasons. It is my wedding anniversary month and my Son's birthday Month. However you choose to celebrate this Thanksgiving, remember it is a wonderful way to spend time with family, and a perfect opportunity to reflect and celebrate your many blessings.

Whether you plan a family time or dinner with friends, remember to "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever." 1 Chronicles 16:34.

Daily, we have many reasons to be Thankful. Every breath we take is a small miracle. But, there is one thing l ask from us this Thanksgiving day, to share whatever we have, to give to family, friends, neighbors, or strangers. Make a call, type that text, bake bread, prepare a meal, send a pleasantry message, get some flowers or say a prayer. Remember to Share—this Thanksgiving day.

“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” Heb 13:16.

Happy Thanksgiving Fam!
