As we go through another year, let's determine to stay off the couch as much as possible. Here is a snippet of an article I read from Mayo Clinic website -
Aim for 30 minutes, 5 days a week. That's the minimum. If you're able to do vigorous exercise (meaning you can't say more than a few words without pausing for a breath), then 3 days a week is enough.
Squeeze in movement whenever you can. Vacuuming the stairs counts. So does taking a lap around the store before you start shopping. Is there a commercial break during your favorite television show? Turn on a song and dance.
